Nitrided Low Carbon Ferrochromium
Nitrided Low Carbon Ferrochromium is widely used in the refining of stainless steel, corrosion resistance steel, alloy steel and other special steels. Nitrogen can partly replace the expensive Nickel element in order to reduce the cost.
This alloy is used to increase tensile strength and yield strength of steels. With that, chromium increases hardness and wear resistance of carbon steels, and confers stainless properties to low-carbon steels.
